New features due out soon for YomoMedia smartphone RSS reader.
Our next build is almost fully tested. Features and enhancements include:
- Posting to Twitter
- Finger-Friendly Layout
- Reading More in Extended View
Twitter integration in YomoMedia. You will soon be able to post a favorite article to Twitter from your device. This feature is already released on the web site. Once you authorize Twitter from your YomoMedia web account, you will be logged in from your smartphone, too.
Gone are the days of Send to a Friend. Well, not exactly, but now you will be able to send an article to your 100 closest friends without having to leave the YomoMedia application.
Finger-Friendly List Views. In our List View for feeds, YomoMedia is giving users a little space. The headlines are spaced out a little more to make it easier to select articles with finger taps on touchscreen devices. The List View setting is found under Application Settings.
All Extended View. One of our sharp-eyed users spotted an oversight on our part, and we are bringing back a feature from the past. We had a screenshot on our website of the Extended View for all articles in a feed. But the feature had been removed from the application. We were correctly told that showing all descriptions inline is a good idea, especially on high-resolution devices. So we are adding an option for All Extended View in the Application Settings.
Thanks to our user for the great suggestions on our Feedback page. We read all of your posts.
We’ll give a shout out to our users when the new features are ready. There will also be a notice from the application when the new build is available for download.
